HEAVEN WORSHIPING HALL
Điện Kính Thiên (Heaven Worshipping Hall)
Heaven Worshipping Hall is dedicated to the Jade Emperor, alongside four celestial deities: Nam Tao, Bac Dau, Pham Thien, and De Thich. Surrounding the hall are intricate reliefs depicting the enlightenment of humankind and heavenly ceremonial scenes, crafted from volcanic stone sourced from Indonesia. The Heaven Gate opens toward the vast sky, symbolizing the Way of Heaven, the eternal laws of the universe, and divine destiny. It is a place where humans look upward, not to challenge Heaven, but to align with it, living in harmony with universal principles that transcend the individual.
THE UI VALLEY STONE SLAB AT HEAVEN WORSHIPPING HALL
The outer square represents the Earth, the foundation of life. Within it lies the circle, symbolizing the Heaven, the infinite movement of the cosmic order. At the center is the point of harmony between Heaven – Earth – Humanity, where humans stand as the bridge connecting the two realms.
What makes this place truly remarkable is that beneath this sacred stone slab, revered monks and spiritual representatives from many countries have brought soil and water from across the five continents and four oceans, including the Arctic Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Pacific Ocean, all gathered here. This convergence expresses a global unity in the spirit of peace and enlightenment, as well as the harmony among diverse cultures and religions. Earth and water, the two fundamental elements of life, are united at a single point, carrying a profound meaning: when the human mind is unified, the world itself can also be in harmony. This is the very heart of the Heaven Worshipping Altar.
According to the philosophy of the Three Powers, Heaven – Earth – Humanity exist as one. At this very place, it is not only the Heaven and Earth of Ninh Binh that are in harmony, but also the spiritual essence of the entire world converging here.
Take a moment to feel this sacred connection, between past and present, between Vietnam and the world united in the spirit of peace and enlightenment.
